Your routine is personal
Privacy Policy
A clear account of what TARA stores, where it lives, and what you control.
Effective and last updated: 7 October 2026
Your intake records are stored on your devices and, when available, in your Apple account’s private CloudKit database. TARA does not send those records to a GAMA DYNAMICS server.
About this policy
TARA — Your Timed Intake Assistant is provided by GAMA DYNAMICS. This policy covers the TARA iPhone and iPad app, its widgets, this product website, and support correspondence. It describes the implementation prepared for TARA 1.0.
TARA helps you organise the times you intend to take an intake. It does not diagnose, prescribe, recommend doses, assess medical safety, or connect to Apple Health.
1. Information you put into TARA
TARA stores the details you enter: intake names, optional amounts, categories, scheduled times and days, time zone, interval, start and optional end dates, timing windows, and whether an intake is active.
It also stores the individual moments generated from your schedule, their identifiers and timestamps, and Taken or Skipped outcomes with recording times. Unrecorded moments whose reminder window has ended are shown as Missed. These details may reveal information about your health or routine, depending on what you enter.
Intake definitions and history use Apple’s SwiftData storage. On-device preferences include Privacy Lock and alarm settings. A shared App Group also holds a widget snapshot and records of prepared alarms, including the relevant intake names, times and moment identifiers.
TARA does not require a name, email address, password, social login or separate TARA account. The app does not request your contacts, location, camera, microphone or HealthKit records.
2. What TARA uses the information for
Your information is used to generate and display your schedule, prepare local reminders and optional alarms, show widgets, record outcomes, display history, and synchronise supported devices through iCloud. GAMAEvents performs the scheduling calculations inside the app; it is not a remote service.
There are no advertising, analytics, behavioural telemetry or third-party crash-reporting SDKs in the app. TARA has no developer-operated intake database or reminder server. Apple may provide its own system diagnostics and crash reporting under your device and Apple account settings; TARA does not add a separate reporting service.
3. Private iCloud sync
The production app is configured to synchronise intake definitions and occurrence/history records through a private CloudKit database in your Apple account when iCloud is available. Apple operates iCloud. Your private database is not exposed to GAMA DYNAMICS through the CloudKit developer console.
TARA can work with local data while offline. Sync depends on your Apple account, connectivity, available iCloud storage and Apple’s service. The app can fall back to local storage when a cloud-backed store cannot be opened; that local fallback does not sync.
This is not a promise of a particular encryption mode or cloud availability. Apple’s Privacy Policy and iCloud terms describe Apple’s service and processing. Your device backups and iCloud storage controls are managed by Apple.
4. Notifications, alarms and widgets
Notification permission is optional. TARA schedules notifications locally on each device when a reminder window opens and at a preferred time. Notification content includes the intake name and a moment identifier used for Take or Skip actions. It is not sent through a GAMA DYNAMICS push-notification server. CloudKit may use Apple’s background notifications to keep private data in sync.
On iOS 26 or later, optional alarms use Apple’s AlarmKit after separate permission. Alarm titles include the intake name. A rolling set of alarms is prepared on your device; reopen TARA to refresh coverage. Stopping an alarm does not record an intake.
Widgets share TARA’s local App Group data to show upcoming moments. Medium and large Home Screen widgets can record Take for the next active moment. Notification previews, alarm presentations and widgets can reveal intake names outside the app, including on a locked screen. Use iOS notification-preview settings and remove widgets if you prefer to keep those details off your screens.
5. Privacy Lock
Privacy Lock is optional and applies to the main app interface on the device where you enable it. Apple’s LocalAuthentication checks the device owner using available biometrics or the device passcode. TARA receives the authentication result; it does not receive or store your face, fingerprint or device passcode. There is no separate TARA PIN.
Privacy Lock does not hide widgets or notification/alarm previews, change iCloud access, or encrypt the stored records separately. Those surfaces and controls are managed by iOS.
7. Retention, deletion and your choices
The app keeps stored intake and history records; the current build has no automatic history-expiry policy. You can edit intake details, deactivate an intake, reactivate it, or delete its definition and upcoming moments from Manage Intakes. Deactivation and deletion remove obsolete pending reminders and alarms as the device reconciles.
Deleting an intake keeps its past history. Past records retain their own names, amounts and timing details. The current app does not offer a separate history-delete or clear-all control. Editing an intake’s name does not rewrite past history.
You can disable notifications, alarms and their previews in iOS; turn Privacy Lock on or off in TARA; and add or remove widgets. To manage cloud data, use the iCloud app-storage controls Apple makes available in Settings. Removing the app does not itself guarantee deletion of iCloud records or backups. Removing it and later restoring or reinstalling it may restore data.
We cannot retrieve or erase records inside your private CloudKit database on your behalf. Contact us for guidance on device and iCloud controls, or for access, correction or deletion requests concerning support correspondence we hold. We retain support messages while needed to respond, maintain the support record, or meet applicable obligations.
8. This website and support email
This product website is hosted on Vercel. Visiting it sends ordinary web-request information, such as your IP address, browser information, requested URL and request time, to the hosting service for delivery, reliability and security. Its retention is governed by the hosting service’s practices. This is separate from your intake records in the app.
The website has no analytics integration, advertising, account, intake-entry form or tracking-cookie feature. The interactive timing example runs in your browser and does not save or send the example’s selections. External links open other services under their policies. Vercel’s processing is described in its Privacy Policy.
Support email opens your email app. Sending a message shares your email address and the content or attachments you choose to include with GAMA DYNAMICS and email providers. Please avoid sending intake history or other health details unless needed for the issue; you can redact screenshots.
9. Questions, concerns and updates
